Search Queries
A name or case number entered in a search tool is sent to the outside provider that operates that tool. The provider processes the request and supplies its result. We do not keep a separate site log of those search terms.
Messages and Contact Submissions
An email sent to us may be retained so that we can respond and maintain the conversation. We do not disclose that message outside our organization unless the law requires disclosure.
Data We Gather Automatically
Our systems receive routine technical details when a page loads, including:

No Court-Record Data on File
Gilpin County Court Docket does not host, compile, maintain, or sell a database of case records. It publishes reference material about the Colorado Judicial Branch Docket Search, the Clerk of the Gilpin Combined Court, and local municipal custodians. Colorado court-file access is governed by Chief Justice Directive 05-01. Judicial Branch administrative-record requests follow P.A.I.R.R. 2, which is not a route to a specific case file. Visitor data is not assembled into a consumer report, and this site is not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies power the site's search boxes. Information submitted there is subject to the provider's policy, retention rules, and sharing practices. Those rules are outside our control, so review them before sending a query.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to Colorado courts, the Gilpin clerk, municipal offices, legal resources, or outside search services. Once a visitor leaves this site, the destination's privacy terms apply. Review them before supplying personal information.
An advertising partner may use its own technology to measure activity across websites and select ads. That processing occurs under the partner's controls.

We do not sell personal information. Limited data may be available to:
- Search partners that handle queries you run on our site
